Vintage bird brooch featuring a stylized folk art bird design with detailed surface decoration and articulated dangling feet. The brooch is finished in a warm brass tone with textured and raised dot detailing throughout the body. The legs and feet move freely, adding charm and motion when worn.
The reverse is stamped MADE IN FINLAND with a maker mark. This style is strongly associated with mid century Finnish modernist and Scandinavian folk jewelry. The brooch has developed an attractive age appropriate patina.
The c-clasp is present and functional but needs a slight adjustment for the pin to slide in and out more easily. This has been reflected in the condition and pricing.
