cean blue cloth hardbound boards with gold gilt debossed text to the spine with also text and a sailing ship and a steamship decoration to the front cover. The spine has slight wear and fading at the top and bottom of the back strip although the boards are in very good condition with almost no wear nor blemishes to front or rear. Corners have some very slight wear and bumping. Spine is straight and firm with no cracking to the endpapers. Text block is solid with gold gilt to the top edge and all pages firmly attached. Brown and cream frontispiece illustration. Age tanning throughout. All interior pages are clean with no tears, cracks or previous owner marks. Later updated and revised in 1930. 321 pages including the Appendix. Dimensions: H – 9-1/4” W – 6”
