This fine porcelain piece was made by the prestigious Tressemann & Vogt (T&V) in Limoges, France, and features the additional retailer/decorator mark "La Cloche" (meaning "The Bell"). This specific combination of marks dates the piece to the highly desirable Late Victorian / Edwardian era, likely manufactured between 1892 and 1907.
The design is exquisite, featuring a vibrant, multi-colored Floral pattern (including pink, yellow, and blue blooms) set against a band of Deep Cobalt Blue. The rim and the handle of the gravy boat are embellished with elegant Heavy Gold Trim, typical of high-quality French Porcelain from this period. The attached underplate features a matching decorative border.
Condition - PLEASE READ:
The set shows overall light use consistent with its age of over 100 years.
NOTE: There is a visible chip on the underside edge of the attached underplate (see photo). This flaw has been factored into the price. The chip is not visible when the bowl is upright.
